ACC Technical Application
Following A framework for the evaluation, validation and implementation of alternative and rapid microbiological testing methods, BioPhorum will publish case studies on the application of this framework. The first article of this series explores automated colony counting systems and discusses how these systems can reduce or eliminate sources of human error, provide faster and more precise detection of microbial colonies, and allow greater control of data, data integrity, and data security.
The “9-Step-Approach” described in BioPhorum’s ARMM framework document was applied for automated colony counting systems to evaluate, qualify, validate and deploy these types of alternative and rapid microbiological techniques. In this webinar, Sven describes the process approach to implementing automated colony counting systems into Roche QC testing, which can also be uniformly applied by peer companies within the industry.
